United Way Day of Caring

Rotarians gathered on September 11th for the fourth year in a row to work on a local community project through United Way of Southbridge, Sturbridge and Charlton’s ‘Day of Caring’ initiative.  This year Rotary’s project was renewing one side of the rotted and broken Colonial rail fence encircling Rotary Park at the corner of Rt. 20 and Cedar Street.  The temperature that day was 90 degrees.  While it may have been hot and humid, we tackled the project with enthusiasm and even finished it early!
